Blend & Brew 402 started with a simple conviction: the best food comes from people who care, using ingredients you can actually pronounce. What began as weekend baking for neighbors has grown into Elgin's go-to destination for bread that rises properly, pastries that flake, and a grocery selection that treats locals the way they deserve to be treated.
We source locally whenever possible, bake in small batches, and never rush a recipe. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't make it to the shelf. That's not marketing — it's just how we run things.
